The Abyss refers to the deep ocean zones beyond the reach of sunlight. Pressure is extreme and temperatures remain consistently low. The environment is defined by darkness and near-total silence. Life exists in rare, highly specialized forms. Many species rely on bioluminescence to survive. This biome feels ancient, remote, and profoundly mysterious.
