Cold Desert is an arid biome defined by low precipitation and consistently cold temperatures. It occurs in inland regions or at high elevations, far from ocean influence. The landscape is stark, shaped by rock, gravel, and nutrient-poor soils. Temperature extremes are common, with short summers and long winters. Plant life is sparse and highly adapted. This biome represents isolation, endurance, and environmental extremes.
